Language and Communication Skills

Although there were some language barriers upon his first few days in South Korea, he was able to get through the day from the help of the friendly locals as well as phrases that he learnt from Korean dramas. Being able to use what he learnt from dramas was definitely an exciting experience as an international student in a foreign country. On a regular basis, students like Bryan find themselves compelled to converse in the local language, which improves their language proficiency in ways that typical classroom environments cannot mimic.

Leisure time

Six months definitely flew by as Bryan spent a lot of his time exploring the city and discovering the unfamiliar taste of South Korean Cuisine. Bryan was afforded the chance to fulfil his tourist desire by travelling to Busan while simultaneously studying at South Korea’s top University for international students. One of the most memorable memories he made was exploring the beaches and bustling markets to historic temples and trendy neighbourhoods of Busan, a popular tourist destination 300 km away from the campus.
