PROFILE

Information System Study Program is a study program consisting of two domains, namely Business and Technology. Information Systems bridge the gap between technical components (information and communication technology) and non-technical components (business and management), so that graduates from the Information Systems study program will have technological competence and Business competence.  

The Information System Study Program emphasizes how to utilize information and communication technology (ICT) to solve problems faced by businesses or organizations and is able to provide an evaluation of the strategic value of using ICT in achieving organizational goals.  

The Information System Study Program prepares a competency-based curriculum design by integrating hard skills and soft skills so that graduates of the information systems study program are expected to be able to compete with other college graduates, have character and have professionalism in their fields. Graduates from the Information System Study Program can act as Information Systems Developers, Data Specialists, or Information System Consultants in various industries, including manufacturing, retail, finance, banking, public services, government, and others. In addition, graduates of the bachelor Information Systems study program also have the provision to develop Technopreneurship and IS Researcher to a higher level of education.  

Information System Study Program is one of the study programs that are members of the Industrial Engineering Faculty and graduates of the Information Systems Study Program are awarded an academic degree in Computer Science (S.Kom). It is hoped that graduates from the Information Systems study program can contribute to the advancement of the development of telematics or information and communication in Indonesia and internationally.  

Research in Telkom University Information Systems Study Program is divided into five areas of specialization, namely:  

• EDE: Enterprise Data Engineering 

• EISD: Enterprise Intelligent System Development 

• SAG: System Architecture and Governance 

• ERP: Enterprise Resource Planning 

• EIM: Enterprise Infrastructure Management 

Graduates from Telkom University Information System Study Program can work in several professional fields as follows, namely:
