Capacity Building
Capacity Building organized by International Class Academic Office (ICAO) aimed to strengthen the bonds between students and develop their leadership skills. Capacity building is an essential aspect of any program that seeks to empower and develop individuals to take on leadership roles and make a positive impact for them. Recently, an event was held at Grafika Cikole Lembang that aimed to do just that.
The event started with an introduction to the program’s objectives, which was followed by various games and activities. These activities were designed to help students build their teamwork, communication, and leadership skills, while also fostering a sense of camaraderie among them. The games were fun and challenging, and students enjoyed themselves while learning valuable skills.
The first game was various of ice breaking and then, the next, games involved a relay race, where teams of students had to work together to complete a series of tasks as quickly as possible. The tasks ranged from carrying a heavy object and navigating a maze blindfolded, and each team member had to rely on their communication skills and trust in their teammates to succeed. This game was not only a physical challenge but also a mental one, as it required students to think creatively and problem-solve under pressure.
The game was a team-building exercise that required the students to work together to solve a puzzle. The puzzle was designed to be challenging, and it required the students to use their critical thinking skills and communication skills to figure out the solution. This game promoted leadership, as some students naturally took charge and directed their team members towards the solution.
Overall, the event was a success, and the students left feeling more united and empowered than before. The games and challenges were not only fun but also provided valuable lessons on teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving. The event showed that capacity building is an essential aspect of the Student Volunteer program, and by organizing events like this, the program can continue to develop and empower its members to make a positive impact for them.
