Cancellation of Program HISS
Warm greetings from Hanyang University.
We hope this letter finds you safe and comfortable. As you know, the COVID-19 outbreak has been a growing concern worldwide. Here in Korea, we have been taking various precautions and engaging in proactive efforts to contain and prevent infections.
After serious thought and careful deliberation, we have decided to cancel Hanyang International Summer School (HISS) 2020, which was scheduled to take place on July 6 – 31 here in Seoul. In light of the global travel restrictions that are being reviewed and extended daily, and after closely monitoring the rising global risk assessment by the World Health Organization, the decision was taken with a deep concern for the health and safety of our students and faculty.
The application withdrawal of the students will be handled by HISS Team, and we will work directly with you, our students, to provide full refunds to those who have completed the payment process.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this notice will undoubtedly create for your summer plans. We look forward to welcoming you back to our campus soon as the circumstances improve and prove completely safe.
To provide you with the best experience we can offer during your next visit to Hanyang, we will continue to work with our partners and students to gather and disseminate up-to-date information. We will also keep you informed about the Hanyang International Winter School 2020 and Hanyang International Summer School 2021 via our website when schedules and program details become available.
Thank you for understanding and your interest in our programs. We look forward to having the opportunity to host you at Hanyang in the near future. Until then, we hope you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy.
