The focus is on fostering excellence in the fields of science, engineering, and regionally specialized industrial studies as established by our esteemed partner universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exciting Opportunity at Kumoh National Institute of Technology<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a special highlight, K-GKS recipients enrolling at Kumoh National Institute of Technology will kickstart their degree program on September 1st, 2024. What&#8217;s even better? Recipients are exempted from the one-year Korean language program, enabling them to dive straight into their academic pursuits. For further information, please see attached, visit website (<a href=\"https:\/\/eng.kumoh.ac.kr\/\">https:\/\/eng.kumoh.ac.kr<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure fairness and transparency in our selection process, we have established clear eligibility criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nationality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants&#8217; parents (or legal guardians) must hold citizenship from another country other than Korea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Level of education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must have obtained the required degree (minimum level of education indicated above) by February 28, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grades<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Score percentile should be 80% or above on a 100-point scale or be ranked in the top 20% of one&#8217;s class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CGPA* must be equal to or above 2.64\/4.0, 2.80\/43.2.91\/4.5or3.23\/5.0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;For universities ranked within the top 300 in the \u20182024 QS World University rankings\u2019, grade conditions are exempted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Age<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Must be under 40 years of age (born after September 1, 1984)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Health<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All applicants must be in good health, both mentally and physically, to study in Korea for the full duration of the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please refer to the attached K-GKS Application Guidelines<br><a href=\"https:\/\/overseas.mofa.go.kr\/az-en\/brd\/m_8242\/view.do?seq=761453\">https:\/\/overseas.mofa.go.kr\/az-en\/brd\/m_8242\/view.do?seq=761453<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Obligation for K-GKS recipients<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>K-GKS recipients are obligated to either find a job at local companies or pursue higher degree at universities located in Gyeongsangbuk-do and to maintain residency in Gyeongsangbuk-do for three years after one\u2019s graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>K-GKS final nominees must attend \u201cGyeongbuk Global School\u201d program before the start of the semester. Gyeongbuk Global School will last two weeks in August 2024, and is a program that introduces policy of Gyeongsangbuk-do and provides scholars with opportunities to experience Korean culture, laws and etc., to help them study and settle in Gyeongsangbuk-do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Submission Deadline<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mark your calendars!
